When creating sustainable fashion for kids, Belle Chiara is a great supporter and through natural fabrics, raw tones and pieces with impeccable patterning confirms that it is possible to produce in an environmentally friendly way. Since its inception its main pillar has been to create handmade garments and shoes with local production. Its spring-summer 2022 collection is made up of a series of pieces that remind us of the Belle Époque, also resorting to minimalist silhouettes to give it that avant-garde air.
“Achrono”, which means timeless in Greek, is the name of its SS22 collection and is the perfect word to define all the pieces that are part of this season. Designed to be worn in all four seasons, Belle Chiara presents long blouses that turn into dresses, swimwear in shades of blue, green and ecru, lattice or ruffled skirts that are combined with handcrafted waistcoats, fresh shirts that are the perfect complement to linen shorts or organic cotton jumpsuits and seven styles of espadrilles that are the perfect match for every outfit. In short, a compilation of garments that have no expiry date.
A little bit about Bellechiara: It was created in 2009 by designer Julia Gónzalez as a children’s footwear brand. It was not until 2012 that González decided to create a children’s clothing line. Belle Chiara’s universe is made up of the adjectives: elegant, delicate, timeless, exclusive and meticulous. Each season, Belle Chiara designs a new collection inspired by a story told through: Prints, colours and textures. The brand is also committed to local and sustainable production, which is why each of its pieces is designed and fabricated entirely in Elda (Spain) with top quality materials, handcrafted and made to order.
